Mr. Blah and I need a hotel recommendation in Copenhagen that's not too expensive, not a dump, and has decent access to the central train station, Köpenhamn H, as well as centrally located to tourist stuff. The only thing we need to avoid: a ton of stairs. (I don't know if it's common for Danish hotels not to have an elevator?) [more inside]

In November, I am going to Copenhagen for a seminar and would love to hit one thrift shop. I googled the thrift shops and came up with a Copenhagen list but not sure which one is best for tchotchkas, costume jewelry, an odd coffee mug etc. Not really interested in clothing, please. I know this is a long shot, but Ask MeFi is a goldmine of information and maybe someone reading this has a lead for me?

We are visiting Copenhagen the next week. Lmt and me are going for a concert (twice rescheduled due to covid - original date was in 2020) but due to budget airline flight organization (ie.: no flights on saturday, very expensive ones of friday) we'll stay there 3 nights. I'm looking for restaurant recommendations in Copenhagen that will be likely to have a table available this Sunday evening. My parents, my partner and I are spending a long weekend in Copenhagen for my mother's 60th birthday. I was charged with booking a restaurant for a birthday dinner on Sunday - but time has slipped away from me and now I'm panicking! All cuisines considered though my mother is not a fan of Chinese food. Hard price limit is £100 per head (I guess roughly 700-750DKK) which rules out a lot of places in Copenhagen. [more inside]
