Boston Suggestions

I will be traveling to Boston soon, and am looking for some more out of the way things to see. In previous trips, I've mostly been to Camberville things, so I'm looking for things in Boston or other areas to look at. No day trips though, I'll only have a day or two to explore wherever and then will be in Cambridge area for the rest of the time. [more inside]

Eating on Cape Cod with vegetarians and kids

Looking for recommendations for dinner spots within a reasonable drive of Chatham, MA that will appear to both vegetarians and kids (and vegetarian kids). We've already got a pizza place lined up, so non-pizza recommendations will be especially valuable. Thanks, hivemind!

Most convenient Park and Ride options to Boston on I-90

Hi everybody. I have to pick up a laptop on St. James Avenue in Boston for a temp assignment on Monday the 25th, and ideally I'm supposed to be there in the AM, though I've advised them that I'm not entirely sure when I'll get there. I live in Essex County, NY, which isn't exactly next door, and I hate driving in large cities as it makes me very tense and uncomfortable. [more inside]

What's happening Boston?!

Hi Boston, what should I do with you? My family is a teen and two middle aged queer women. Some or all of us like nerdy stuff, art museums, live music, science, nature, weird underground art, bookstores, history, activism, and eating really tasty food. We'll be in Boston (and Western Mass - mostly around Amherst/North Hampton) in mid-May. We don't have a big agenda, just want to relax and explore. I'm mostly looking for Boston suggestions but feel free to chime in with your favorite Western Mass suggestions too. Thank you!

Running loons on the Cape

So, on a whim, I signed up for the Cape Cod Ragnar relay. I have experience of road races and of the East Coast, but not of Ragnars and not of Massachusetts. Help me minimize my rookie far, the office Race Bible only covers so many questions (and anyway, the founders are flyover-country yokels like me). [more inside]
