Weekend in the Berkshires

We're headed up to Great Barrington, MA in the Berkshires this weekend and would love any and all ideas on things to do/see, shops to check out, places to eat, etc. Special Halloween events particularly welcome. Couple in early/mid-40s, no kids, but open to anything. Thank you!

Bash Bish Falls painted by John F Kensett in the 1860s is 12 mi SW. It's half a mile from the nearest parking. We went there from Boston, on this [anniversary] day 39 years ago because Herself had seen the picture in the MFA. YRomanceMMV.

Something called Nightwood at Edith Wharton's house in Lenox looks good. It's a nighttime activity. Daytime, you can visit the gardens for free or buy tickets and take a tour of the Mount. Are you planning to hike? There are trails up to Mt. Greylock. Or drive up there, stroll around, and take in the views.

The No. 6 Depot in Stockbridge has really good coffee and breakfast, and there's a lovely used bookstore just across the way. Seconding The Mount.

If you like wings and beer you should have both at the Olde Forge in Lanesborough. Mass MOCA in N. Adams is a great museum.

Liked Mass MOCA. Had some very good food in Pittsfield: breakfast from Misty Moonlight Diner, other meals at Patrick's Pub, though things seem to start being randomly closed starting Sundays -- like, you'll find a great place for breakfast on Monday, and then it's closed Tuesdays. And there's a place called Olivia's Overlook that I hope to make it out to some night to get a good look at the sky.
