Rocky Mountain Thai--good delivery or other ideas in Denver?

Hello Mefites. I just found out that pretty much the whole family of a good friend in Denver has tested positive for COVID (her husband and three kids). They are quarantined in their house and our friend group wants to help by sending meals but none of us live there, so I'm looking for suggestions. [more inside]

Long winter weekend in Denver

I'll be in Denver, late December, for a four day mini vacation. I'm up for ice and snow related activities, good food and drinks. I'm probably staying in the city center area and won't have a car, but could rent one if needed. Thank you for any suggestions you have.

Best places to drive around looking at scenery Denver-adjacent

I'm going to be in Denver on Saturday and want to spend the day driving around looking at mountains and trees and whatnot. I know that that stuff isn't exactly "close" to Denver but I will have about 4 hours to kill so it's fine. Where should I head up into? Open to any and all recommendations. [more inside]

I’m looking for recommendations as to where to spend time in Colorado in August. Specifically: things to do in/around Denver (including day trips) and a separate place to make a base camp for about a week (though not a literal camping site). [more inside]

Things To Do Outside Denver Before I'm Dead

Next week, I have two free days starting in the Denver area, and I'd like to explore the Rocky Mountain National Park. My main interests: viewing stunning wilderness and sensible solo hikes. Is there a tourist-friendly loop I could drive? I was thinking Denver - Loveland Pass - Aspen, but Google Maps suggests heading back to Denver along the same roads, and I'd like to get a change of scenery if possible. [more inside]

What trails in Jefferson Co, CO are comfortably rideable on cross bikes?

That's pretty much the question. We'll be in Jefferson County, Colorado, USA, towards the end of July. We don't have mountain bikes (this was going to be their debut weekend, but alas), but are active dirt/gravel/light trail/B road cyclists, on bikes with 40mm tires and drop bars (gravel grinders). What trails would/could you recommend? [more inside]

Rocky Mountains for the Acrophobic

My family will be traveling to Fort Collins, Colorado in about a month for a wedding. We will be flying into Denver and then driving up. The kids (ages 6 and 11) have never been in the Rockies before and we'd like to enjoy nature and the mountains. The difficulty is that Mrs. WtP has a history of severe acrophobia leading to panic attacks when driving on mountain roads. The acrophobia may be rooted in damage to her vestibular system. (She had severe ear infections as a child, required surgery, and has partial hearing loss in one ear.) [more inside]

Where to stay in the Denver/Boulder area?

On a lark, my wife and I booked flights to Denver in June for a week's vacation. We've never even been to the state of Colorado. How should we divide up our time and what towns should we stay? We are into beer and vegetarian restaurants and funky shops and hiking.
