We're going to be in Colorado Springs and Denver from June 1 - 8. What's going on?

Bonus points for Portuguese related events.
Also looking for some good music/concerts.

Westword is a good source of Denver event listings.

June 3 is the monthly Film on the Rocks at Red Rocks featuring a screening of Ghostbusters plus some local musicians and a comedian

These are specific to Denver, and all are free:

The Chalk Art Festival will take place on the 1st and 2nd--I like going towards the end of the event on the 2nd so that I see mostly-completed work.

Jazz in the Park kicks off on the 2nd.

The 7th is the First Friday Art Walk in the Santa Fe art district.

Enjoy!

My music picks...

Red Rocks (you really want to go here if at all possible)
Moe (jam band hippy paradise)
Billie Eilish
Michael Franti (kills in this venue)

Denver
Emily Saliers (of the Indigo Girls)
Bassnectar
Denver jazz icon Freddy Rodriguez, Sr. at the landmark club El Chapultepec.
The Dead Milkmen
The Crystal Method

Boulder
Little Feat (small house, this should kill)
Talib Kweli

COS (not really a music town, so a rare decent show)
But here's a previously, for other local stuff. Crap website, but this is here if yer into mil history.

If shows are sold out, try stubhub, axs, flashseats, THEN Craigslist.

There's a Metafilter meetup on 6/5! You should totally come! We're currently looking at locations to meet in downtown Denver.
