Recommend erotic media you like

Inspired by a comment in a recent thread, I thought it'd be interesting to have people share erotic media, or links to platforms they like, forums, whatever.

In this recent thread, someone made this comment: "(I have a friend who'd be interested in specific content if anyone else feels like naming authors/websites)."

I thought this could be the thread for that, instead of buried in a two days old post.

Note: everyone please be respectful! If you think someone else's suggestion could use a content warning I think that's fair, but otherwise, I want to encourage people to post a diversity of recommendations. If you think some content crosses a line of course that's fair, I just don't want people to be kink-shamed.

I personally would be interested in: well-written stuff with good characterizations...but that also brings the steam (m/f, m/m, f/f, etc is all fair game); the aforementioned, but with a graphical component (comics, manga, visual novels, etc). But I encourage people to share!

Hong Kong artist Little Thunder. Her insta is great, really open about ongoing work. I hunted for ages for LE collections of her works Peek, Sisterhood, and Wakame And Wave And Infinity (got em! spendy). I couldn't begin to describe it... subtly sexy and blatantly sexy at the same time. She's masterful at these images that provoke the observation: I don't know what just happened, but it was...awesome.

These are some of my favorite romance authors, with recommended books to start. While I don't remember offhand just how steamy each one is, the books I read tend to be closer to the "steamy"/"sexy" end of the spectrum than the "sweet"/"cozy" end.

Sweet Disorder by Rose Lerner. From a review:

This was very interesting. A Regency set amid politics and the middle class, with a widow who finds herself in need of a husband, the grossly corrupt politics and vote buying of the time; a realistic attitude to how people had sex. The injured veteran is really, painfully injured; the heroine is actually fat, not the usual size 10 masquerading as fat, and the way the hero perceives her is wonderfully contrasted with the way other characters dismiss her. These are non-perfect people who are perfect for each other, which really is my crack.

Alyssa Cole + Rose Lerner + Courtney Milan are all amazing, but I'd like to add Alisha Rai and Delphine Dryden to the list. Roslyn Sinclair is great for f/f, too.

The Wild Seasons Series by Christina Lauren is really great- it's got characters you can care about, an actual plot, lots of steam, and it's packed with diversity and consent and people who like and care about each other even while they have lots and lots of... steam.
