Erotica Suggestions?

Looking for erotica suggestions (NSFW text inside)

I am looking for suggestions for erotica with certain specifics. I would prefer it to be in book form if possible but internet is okay. If it is on the internet it needs to be publicly available (no payment) and preferably sorted by genre.

It needs to be at least edited and decently written would be preferable. Close to short story length would be best but longer or shorter is okay if it is worth it. The things that most interest me are:

-Submission, especially by women, either to men or other women
-Multiple men with one woman
-Some forms of coercion such as difficulty with paying rent
-Light bondage

Please DO NOT include anything with incest, bestiality, anything like that. I also really do not want any fan fiction of any variety. I am not particularly interested in erotica with two men but I don't really mind its being suggested.

Please don't lecture me on my tastes. I am a woman and I already have a complicated relationship with my sexuality. My interests do not mean that I condone negative sexual attitudes towards women.

If you don't want to post here I can be reached at sake.of.privacy@gmail.com

I think this is probably one of the more understanding parts of the internet when it comes to accepting others' sexual taste. I also have a feeling you'll be getting a few personally-endorsed recommendations from people who share your tastes!

It's not my kink, but I know this kind of thing is out there -- if you're in a city that has one of the Babeland stores, stop in and ask them. They usually have a wall of erotica books, and I think there's a shelf devoted to books that deal with bondage and S/M themes.

Good luck.

The two books off my shelf I'd lend you immediately would be Carol Queen's The Leather Daddy and the Femme, and Patrick Califia's Macho Sluts. Both are pretty damn queer, though, which might not be up your alley.

I'll take a second pass through my shelves hopefully later and see what else I can come up with. A lot of it's likely to be single stories in a otherwise uninteresting to you collection, though.

/never thought having so many friends who write erotica would come up useful in this context!

If you haven't already, I'd suggest starting with the classics, like Anais Nin and The Story of O. (My memory suggests that a couple of Nin's stories have incest-ish touches, but it's not a major theme throughout her erotica.)

Seconding Literotica. The quality varies widely - start your browsing by going to the "best of" category (not sure what it's actually called and I'm not about to check it from work) and then you can drive down into the subcategories kathrineg suggests.

Most authors seems to be pretty good about prefacing any unexpected content with "hey, the story contains X and Y and if this bothers you then it may not be a good idea to read it".

Can't help you with books, but if you search Google groups, there are a lot of different types of erotica in varoius alt.sex.stories newsgroups. Once you get to the sex stories area, you can narrow your search ("submissive woman") and find a lot of surprisingly well-written short stories.

BDSMlibrary.com has a really good advanced search feature that can also be used to filter out stuff like bestiality and incest.

If you want your submission mixed with a large dose of romance, I highly recommend Claire Thompson. Her website has a Free Reads section.

She writes novels, not short stories, but they are jam packed enough that you'll get what you're looking for within the space of a short story.

John Warren might be up your alley.

Spend some time in the archives of Easily Aroused (he also wrote a few books) and Naughty Secretary.

I suggest the BDSM Library. Some of the stories fit your criteria, and some probably don't but there's codes listed beside the story names before you click on it so you know what you're getting in advance. Also, one click on the story name will give a brief synopsis before continuing onto the full text. It's updated at least once a week.

I find Literotica too poorly written for the most part, to just relax and enjoy the ride.

Have you looked into the stories archived at The Erotica Readers & Writers Association? The writers on that site often make it into print anthologies and stand alone erotic novels.

For print, I really enjoy the anthologies edited by and stories written by Alison Tyler.

No judgement here; half the fun of erotica is the fantasy...

Full disclosure: I write smut and my work appears on ERWA and in Tyler's anthologies.

Literotica and The Kristen Archives. The Kristen Archives is a mess, but they tried to organize the stories the best they could.
