Best Salons in lower Manhattan/Brooklyn for a Woman's Undercut?

I'm looking for hair stylists/salon recommendations in Brooklyn or lower Manhattan that would be a good place to get an undercut.
My hair is normally chin length, but it's started to grow out. I'd like to keep the "length" and have part of the left side of my head shaved. Anyone have any salon recommendations?

Seconding showbiz_liz. If you don't feel comfortable waltzing into a random barbershop (especially the first time), I can personally recommend Inna at Freeman's Sporting Club or Eli at Blue and Black.
However, besides keeping my sides shaved, I also have short mohawk-y hair and cowlicks, so it's worth it to me to pay more for my 'real' haircuts. If I only need the sides buzzed, I go to a random neighborhood barber and pay $8, not $30-50.
If I had longer hair, I would go to a salon for hair cuts and a neighborhood barber for buzzings in between as those need to happen more frequently.

Yep, that's just what I do!
