Foo Fighters vs. Pearl Jam

Why does the Foo Fighters song "Friend of a Friend" remind me of a very specific Pearl Jam song?

Is there one that actually sounds similar or has very similar lyrics? Or am I the only one who gets that feeling? Or do they just all sound a bit similar?

Response by poster: null terminated, I think that's it, even though it somehow doesn't sound that similar anymore. Maybe it's the "clock ticking" and "sitting in a room" parts that did it.
