Bookmarks toolbar in Opera 9?

Is there anything remotely similar in Opera 9 to Firefox's Bookmarks Toolbar? Opera seems so much faster, but unless I can get quick access to my bookmarks without having to use their annoying "start toolbar" or the Bookmarks menu at teh top, I doubt I'll be able to make the switch.

Best answer: you can drag bookmarks to any toolbar. The "Personal Bar" is supposed to be for you own bookmarks, search fields, etc., but you can appropriate any toolbar you aren't using and clean the buttons off it if you want.

You can also disable the start toolbar pretty easily.

To open the toolbar settings dialog just right click any toolbar and select "Customize..."

You can also get to your bookmarks quickly by using the sidebar.

F4 for the sidebar to show/hide.

Yeah, sidebar. Also, right-click a bookmark and you can select "Properties"... in which you can put a shortcut.

These days, I type "A" in the addressbar, and I get MeFi My Comments.

I also have folders, with numbers 1-9,0 as shortcuts; these shortcuts open all the bookmarks within the assigned folder, all at once.

Makes it a breeze to treat websites as RSS feeds: it's a matter of looking at headlines and skimming first-paragraphs to decide what's worth actually reading.
