Looking for specific (3d) logo of a cultural building

About a year or two ago I saw a presentation about the design of a logo for a cultural building / institution: opera, theatre, museum or university, library. I think they used a 3d model of the building, to create profile shots of different angles, thereby providing different logos for different occasions Im desperately looking for this presentation or logo.
Anyone?
- The use of variations of the logo for different occasions, makes me believe It is probably a cultural building: concerts, events etc.
- I used to watch TEd.com a lot so that was my first place to look, but no luck there yet.
- I believe the logo looked a bit like a simple but screwed up mix between a hexagon and diamond (facets)
- there was variation through the different views of the 3d model, but i'm not sure if they used profile shots or ... slices?

No, It's not the MIT media lab. Good find though! It shares some of the ideas.
It also reminded me of something:
- If im correct, the presentation explained how they can sample color pallets (from pictures for instance) to make a variation for different occasions.

@Admiral Haddock
Thank you so much
In the comments on that page about MIT media lab, someone refers to the building and logo i was talking about.
Its the Casa da Musica building by Rem Koolhaas, and the identity / logo is a design of Stefan Sagmeister.
Here is the Ted video (check about 10mins in):
