help with a song please

songfilter: whats the song i heard at the gym today? Heard a song at the gym today, google-fu is failing me, song is in my mind and haunting me.
Lyrics went something like "dj, don't you know how it makes me feel when you play that song, dance all night long." it started slow and got more upbeat
its not the nina sky song that pops up on google, it sounded like hillary duff or ashlee simpson or something, not r&B. i think its from the past 3 years or so.
its particularly frustrating for me because this isn't the first time the song has lodged in my mind, and i was able to find it last time. thank you, askmefites.
