Depressing music for a depressing movie

The song at the very end of "Irréversible". What is it?

It sounds like a funeral march. From the IMDB site, it seems to be Symphony No 7 in A Major op. 92 by Beethoven, but I listened to bits of it and it seems too perky throughout -- allegros and whatnot. The Amazon entry for the sountrack lists "excerpts from Symphony No 7 In Major OP.82", but I had no luck being able to find anywhere online a sample of the sounds to verify.

Best answer: I've never seen the movie, but based on your description, I'd guess that they used excerpts from the second movement of that symphony, the Allegretto.
