How do I go about getting another soundtrack writing job?
The first one fell in my lap - a band I work with got offered it and asked me to co-write. It was fast-paced, challenging, and AWESOME good fun.
Now I really want to write more music for film. This was a hollywood film but I'd do a much smaller-scale one just for practice and a better CV.
So... do you know any or all of the following:
- good forums where filmmakers seek composers/songwriters
- reputable agents or agencies that deal with this kind of thing
- any other ways in that I might not have (almost definitely haven't) thought of
I know literally nothing about this arena, so any knowledge is good knowledge.
Thank you!

You might already be familiar with this website, but it has a lot of great job postings for people that are interested in the music industry.

Best answer: Sorry, I posted the link for the US but your profile tells me otherwise. Here's a link for jobs in the UK instead.

Response by poster: drjimmy11 - for the recent job, it was "pop" songs, but I do write score outside of that, so I'd do either.
livinglearning - thanks! I didn't know about that site, I'm delving into it now :)
