Recommendations for ambient/downtempo/chillout internet radio stations?

I love listening to internet radio, especially ambient/downtempo music (I get these streams from iTunes). Anyone out there know any other good ambient/downtempo/chill out internet radio? I ask because although the stations I get on iTunes play from a massive collection, they do tend to narrow in on certain artists.

I don't really know the genre of which you speak, but have you looked in the listings at Shoutcast?

i second monkey radio: been tuning in to it for a long time. massive playlist, seldom repeats, high bandwidth. tunes served up are not always safe for work, though - nothing extremely vulgar but don't be surprised if you get a porn groove remix (complete with "stick it in me" requests) once in a while. surprised the hell out of me, wasn't expecting that...

Not a radio station, but if you haven't checked out Jimbob 's stuff on music.metafilter.com, you should.

spinner.com, now called radio@netscape, is actually really cool

micromusic.net's radio is electronica and their categories are unique and kinda cool.

"sporty", "spooky", "funky", "fucky", "worky", "relaxy" and "lovely".

I actually like worky best as ambient. Also, not a huge variation in their playlist,
but it's quite differant than anyone else's playlist.

I do Drone Zone when I'm not doing BassDrive or Urban Drop (or the UK garage rock station I like).
