Chicago lunch spot with high, private booths?

I am looking for a restaurant in Chicago, either close to downtown or in Hyde Park, which is open for lunch on Mondays(!) and has high, fairly private booths conducive to quiet conversation. I'd prefer to avoid steakhouses, but am otherwise open on both cuisine & cost. Any suggestions?

I immediately thought of the Gage, which I wouldn't really call a steakhouse although it's on the borderline. What it definitely has is high backed booths and is open on mondays for lunch.

Downtown has a place that could be straight out an 80's Chicago movie: the Italian Village. The upstairs has booths that aren't just tall - they are enclosed.

In Hyde Park I am fond of Ascione Bistro which has comfortable booths. Open Mondays.

Seconding The Gage. It's immediately what came to mind on your description.
