Mouse side buttons not working in Chrome

My mouse's side buttons no longer work in Chrome. (But will work everywhere else)

I have a Logitech G400s mouse, using a Windows PC and Google Chrome. The 2 side buttons on the mouse have always been bound to Forward and Back in Chrome. Recently they stopped working. I downloaded the mouse's software, and the buttons are properly bound there. The buttons work as they should in games, and in Windows Explorer. There isn't a mouse-specific setting in Chrome that I can find.

Any assistance is appreciated!

Do alt+left arrow and alt+right arrow on your keyboard accomplish back/forward still? If so, just bind your mouse buttons to those.

Sorry, strong nope from Chrome and Chromium for additional mouse buttons. Stuff like Teams in the Electron wrapper doesn't receive these inputs.
