How can I make YOTO playlists for my out-of-state relative?

I bought my young relative a YOTO a couple years ago. Now that they're of an age to be interested in not-entirely-kid music, I'd like to make playlists for them. What's the best way to do that?

Their parents aren't super tech savvy, so I need to be the one with all the answers here. I know you can get blank YOTO cards- do I need a YOTO of my own to record on them? Is there some other way to make this happen from a few states away?

Response by poster: Thanks! From that it looks like I can make playlists in a shared app, and they'll have to create the card on their end.

You should be able to put the playlist on a card with your phone from the app - it uses NFC. I do that with my iPhone to switch which playlist is on a card when we're travelling and only have a few MYOs with us. You will still have to create the playlist in the shared app though, I don't think MYOs made in one account work in a Yoto that's on a different account.
