(streaming) video playlist?

I'd like to set up a kid-friendly video playlist, so no one has to touch a remote except to start the playlist & turn it off. Are there apps that will do this on any of the set top boxes (roku, amazon fire tv, apple tv, chromecast)? I'd prefer streaming media if it's easy, but playing purchased media would work.
(I know Netflix & Hulu will auto-play, but I don't necessarily want to auto-play my way through 24 hours of Dora The Explorer.)

Response by poster: Video source can be whatever - we have all the normal streaming subscriptions I know of, but all suggestions welcome. Thanks!
