Help my friend name her business!

My friend would love MetaFilter's help as she goes through the process of naming her piano and voice studio.

From my friend:

I need some help with a name for a new business. The business is a piano and voice studio out of my home. I am a female in my early 30s and have experience teaching males and females of all ages.

My teaching levels are: piano (beginning to intermediate) and beginning voice. I also do short term performance coaching sessions. A unique aspect of this studio will be the use of audio visual documentation. Using audio and visual material from their weekly lessons, I will provide students with an annual or bi-annual progress report in an inspiring and narrative format. These "musical journey" videos can easily be shared with friends and family and can be a fun motivation device.

I'm looking for a name that can capture the joy and journey of progressing into a new or advanced musical level. If possible, I'm looking for a name that's simultaneously progressive and classic. Short is probably better; bonus points for a name that is easily accompanied with a dynamic logo.

Thanks!

Any extra info about her she wouldn't mind sharing which would give us more to work with? Name, city, neighbourhood etc? (Not because I'm a stalker, but I have previous and love this kind of question!)

Not angling for rewards, just the joy of it!

Response by poster: penguin pie - she lives in Minnesota, just south of the Twin Cities. She's fun, creative, and loves bringing the joy of music to families. She's very into using music as a way to build community.

Hope this helps!

Unless you're willing to deal with an awful lot of snickers from people with their minds in the gutter like myself, I'd probably steer clear of P&V Studio... (sorry, hal_c_on)

although I would love to see the logo

Unless she is doing cutesy classes for very small children, I would strongly suggest she market under her actual name. It is hard enough to build a reputation in her niche.

Lastname Piano and Voice Studios.

I know, it's not creative or joyful, but I agree with Darling Bri, and it's to the point.

I would probably defer to the folk above suggesting using your name, since they know the field, but for the hell of it:
