What interesting blogs discuss design and technology thoughtfully?

I enjoy thoughtful but not overly academic discussions of users' experiences with technology and/or design, particularly analyses like this or this. What blogs or other stuff should I be reading?

I'm particularly interested in blogs that are more carefully curated (2-3 posts/week is ideal) and from which I could read the bulk of content without being overwhelmed.

I find Jakob Neilsen's Alertbox consistently useful and interesting. 3-6 short articles per month (recent example).

You may enjoy 99% Invisible. It is a podcast that covers aspects of this space but in my experience the website has lots of information about its stories.

LukeW has lots of practical advice. I particularly like his work on form design. His blog mostly has notes from conferences he attends, which could offer good leads for other resources.

Brad Frost writes good stuff about interface design and user interaction, mostly from a web perspective.

Seconding LukeW.

You might find the UXDesign section of Smashing Magazine relevant.
