Calling all Bambara speakers?

Calling all Bambara speakers? I'd really love to know what the beautiful song Fanta Bourama (which could be Bambara, one of the main languages in Mali) by Djélimady Tounkara is about. Bonus points if you can provide a full translation in English (of French).

Best answer: Wonderful song... "Djelimady Tounkara gives us the most remarkable acoustic guitar performance on the entire CD. It is not enough to say it is beautiful, for no words convey the feeling of hearing his talent. His ballad, “Fanta Bourama” is named after (and a tribute to) a married couple who welcomed him to California on his first tour of the United States."
