Hooray for Peter Pumpkinhead

I'm looking for an image from the video for XTC's "The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead."

In the video there's a still image (which is part of a series of images if I recall correctly) of a drawing of two heads in a row with a zig-zag line going through both of them. Undernead the heads is the word "Magic." It pretty clearly seemed to me to be a reference to the "magic bullet" theory explaining how JFK and governor Connally got shot by only one bullet. The heads in the drawing are profiles looking to the right. I believe they were drawn in red on a tan-colored background, but I could be mistaken.

Has anyone ever seen this picture available anywhere? Poster? T-shirt? Whatever?

You might want to check the forum section of the XTC website. Maybe there's a fan who can send you a screen shot of the image you want.

There are some clips from the video on this fan site. Perhpas you can email the site owner to see if he'll send you the video or the still you are looking for.

And thanks, now that song is going to be in my head all day.

Huh. I always thought the Crash Test Dummies [mp3 sample] wrote that song, but I see now they give XTC proper credit. Thanks for introducing me to a new band!
