Geetar-filter: What axe/fx achieved the sound of Lenny Kaye's wonderful solo on "Pissing In A River"?

Just sounds like pretty straightforward amp overdrive and room reverb.

I know he plays a strat generally. Listening to it I'd guess a old Fender Champ or similar pegged. It was a fairly common choice (KISS, Clapton, Neil Young, etc) for overdriven tones of that era.

The reverb sounds like it could be a slapback delay.
