Amateur porn. For food. Good sites?

I'd like a site that features photos of every recipe submitted, and is preferrably on real food/whole food/ non-processed stuffs. I've done many things, so don't need the basics (i.e., I've studied the relevance of nut butters to a variety of cuisines; I did one year (200 lbs) of hand-made cheeses; I can do almost anything in the fantabulous "breadbakers apprentice" book). I'd like to correspond with and share photos with others regarding interesing cooking.

Response by poster: I heart metafilter.

And all you damned porn addicts!

Attributions? Any of you submit to these sites?

Metafilter's Own Amateur Gourmet is awesome, as are Simply Recipes and Chocolate and Zucchini.

Not all of the entries feature recipes, but you can't get more food porn-y than FXcuisine. This wonderful blog features photos of delicious foods and lavish food experiences. I adore it!

Not a recipe site, but ieatishootipost has many captivating pictures of Singapore street food (and occasionally restaurant stuff as well) that might be interesting to you in an exotic kind of way. You can find actual recipes of the food that was photographed elsewhere on the web too.

In Mol Araan is quirky wonderful, and bilinguial in Yiddish as well.

Apple Pie, Patis and Pate is run by someone who can do everything from a long autolyse pain ancienne baguette to Filipino lechon.

Both sites have nice photos.

I occasionally post on both Tastespotting and Foodgawker (I post under voodookitchen - and yes, there's a distinct overlap sometimes between the two), but you might also like Food & Fizz, and FoodBuzz, which are similar but not quite so flash. For booze porn, you can't go past Liqurious.

For Thai Food Porn, I recommend a blog called Real Thai (his photo blog is also worth a good look) but it's a little light on recipes. For Asian recipes I suggest Rasa Malaysia which is an absolute treasure trove of info. For Japanese food you might like Kyoto Foodie and for Bento Box porn you can't go past Anna The Red.

Aran Goyoaga of Cannelle et Vanille is a food stylist/photographer who posts gorgeous pictures -- mostly of pastries, fruit and ice creams/custards. I suggest browsing the recipe index.

FXCuisine has some of the finest photography but he has been slowing down on new posts lately.

Rouxbe.com isn't bad, and they show video preparation as well.

My favorite is a blog by a former personal chef, Hungry Cravings. She includes nice photos of whatever product she is using, the recipe and finished products.
