Where did my typed in URL history go?

Firefox 3.0 address bar drop down displays "Recently Bookmarked" list. How do I make it show URLs that I have typed in, as it used to with Firefox 2.0?
Best answer: Go to your address bar and type "about:config". Click OK on the warning. Enter "browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped" into the filter field. If you already have this value, right click on it and select "toggle" to set it to true. If you don't, right click anywhere in the lower pane and create a new boolean string of that name and set it to true. Both methods should return you to only typed addresses, rather than including bookmarks or links you have clicked.

Yeah, one of the new features of FF3 is that the address bar includes everything in your history. It's been a little annoying to me at first, but it seems to settle down into FF2 style behavior with use. One thing you might also miss from FF2 is the inline completion in the address bar. Fix that by setting browser.urlbar.autoFill to true in about:config.

Response by poster: I changed the "browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped" to true, didn't work. I still have only a list of bookmarks.
