BoreddallasFilter: I live in Dallas and it seems i have run out of things to do with my family today. Help me think of some fun things to do TODAY in and round the DFW area with my wife and two kids, which are 6 and 1 1/2.
Go to Las Colinas and let the 6 year old play around in the mustang fountain sculpture thing?

Turtle Creek. Keep an eye on your kids, though, or they might end up rolling around underwater like I did when I was 1 :)

Have you been over to Fort Worth? There's the cowboy thing at the Stockyards (Exit I35W at 28th St., go west until Main, then south on main until Exchange St., just a few blocks down).

The Aquarium is probably your best bet, but White Rock Lake or the Dallas Arboretum are nice if you just wanna hang out as a family.

OH!!! The world's greatest mini-golf course is in Dallas. Seriously, it is the best ever. It was called Golden Bear when I was last there in 2002. It isn't silly windmills and mall type mini-golf. This course was really genuinely challenging and hours of fun.
