Made to order, but on the cheap

I'm participating in a wedding shortly and am thinking of buying a tuxedo online, then having it locally altered in Toronto. Has any one had experience or tips in doing this? Is it worth my time (and money) to buy online?

Bonus question: Does anyone have a recommendation for a good tailor in Toronto to perform the alterations?

This is a good idea only if you can preview the quality of the suit beforehand in a shop and then buy the exact same suit/size online. Must be wool or other natural fiber/wool blend! I wouldn't plan on spending any less than $400 on a tuxedo online and it should be a designer name like Hugo Boss or some other Italian designer that normally retails for $1000

email me if you want the phone number of a Spanish contact who might have slightly imperfect or sample suits from Milan available.
