Did I ejaculate during my first orgasm?

I think I might have ejaculated the first time I ever orgasmed. I'm a young, reasonably sexually inexperienced (though not a virgin) female.

I am an early 20s female who recently purchased a Hitachi Magic Wand thanks to all the recommendations here on Metafilter... (and BOY do I want to thank everyone that recommended it to me)

I used it for the first time the other night, and experienced my first ever orgasm - and it was a multiple one, and very very intense.

During the orgasm, it felt like I peed, but I went to the toilet before I began, and the fluid didn't smell.

I think I experienced female ejaculation - but I thought that would only happen if the G-spot was simulated? This was purely from stimulating the clit.

Am I imagining it? This happened to other women?

Yes, it's happened to other women. G-spot stimulation can assist w/ ejaculation, but is not required. Congrats!.

I have a GF that does that too. In all my time she's the only one that's ever done it, but goddamn it happens every time she climaxes, irrespective of stimulation technique. So yeah - not common, but nothing to worry about either. Except extra laundry perhaps.

Seconding wemayfreeze, especially the congrats part. Next time, put a towel down first - and enjoy the fabulousness of being a woman! : ) And I am seriously going to have to get the Magic Wand - been meaning to for ages...

No, you're not the only one this has ever happened to, and it can come from any type of stimulation.

Some lovers will think it's hot, some lovers will think it's gross, and some won't even notice. You want to dump the ones who think it's gross.

There are also lots of folks who will say that female ejaculation is a myth, but it is not.

As Helen Razer, beloved Australian microcelebrity, once put it: you're a sexual gem.

Woo-hoo, congratulations!

Yes, it is totally possible to ejaculate from clitoral stimulation. Female ejaculate comes from urethral sponge (also called the G-spot or female prostate), and the strong stimulation from the Hitachi Hammer of God (as my friends affectionately refer to it) also stimulates this tissue as well.

The female sexual anatomy is much more complex and extensive than I was taught as a girl. For example, the clitoris is just the tip of a much larger structure. This site has good drawings and articles.

You may also find that you have other kinds of orgasms. Don't worry about what anyone else tells you about orgasms -- what matters is what feels good to you.

Totally 'normal'. My last girlfriend ejaculated during any orgasm in which I'd so much as tickled her g-spot. It was like unto a fire hose. Easily half a cup of liquid. It was mad hot.

+1 on dump the ones who think it's gross.

I just picked up the Guide to Getting it On, I believe recced in a recent question. The section on female ejaculation is unfortunately brief but overall it seems like a great reference, for people at any experience level, really. It covers most of what you might have questions about; the sections on anatomy were quite interesting (there's a lot more going on down there than I'd ever thought about!).

I'm with you Netzapper. I had one like that too, but it was more like just that the usual moisture pumps were working at 1000% efficiency. Most fascinating.
Don't worry, Anon, it's not common but it's totally okay and I think most guys will be surprised but not freaked out or anything.

It is possible that you could have ejaculated. Usually this will produce a sizable amount of liquid. It is also possible to get really, really wet during orgasm without experiencing ejaculation.

The classic sensation is feeling like you have to pee shortly before ejaculating, but YMMV and all that.

You might filter for lovers who would be turned on by this with a sexy explanation beforehand. Also, some people prefer to have some advance warning, either because it turns them on and/or so they can get out some towels.

Surely "educate those who think it's gross" is preferable to "dump those who think it's gross"? People are often alarmed by the unknown, and for better or worse (usually worse) female sexuality is still a big unknown for many.

It seems to me that if you punish someone for their ignorance, you merely perpetuate their ignorance. Better to educate them, so they can approach you (or the next person, if that's how it works out) with an open mind.

The problem with educating somebody before them is, what if you DON'T ejaculate with them? Careful in how you present it, and be prepared for the guy (or girl) you tell to be very determined in trying to make it happen again...and again...and again.
It happens to me quite frequently. And sometimes, I'm really surprised when it doesn't. No rhyme or reason to it, and I don't worry too much about it because it feels good either way. But I always put a towel down, just in case.
