I am SO not an authority on London, but I'd have to think the answer is Timeout?

I can't vouch for comprehensivity, but SonicLiving has lots of listings for London.

For classical music, Concert Diary is the most exhaustive listing site I've found.

I'm quite fond of the London Gig Guide:

Maybe not as comprehensive as you'd like, but they always list bands that I like (indie rock & indie pop)!

Response by poster: thanks for all suggestions. Tourfilter looks like it could grow into something interesting, and concert diary looks good
