Why does Safari offer to remember usernames and passwords for some sites, but not others? Specifically del.icio.us.

del.icio.us is a Yahoo! property now. Yahoo! tends to disable autocomplete on logon forms as odinsdream suggest above.

Because of this in the HTML: autocomplete=off.

I'm also a Safari user and successfully use Autocomplete Always On! to turn off Safari's support for this non-standard HTML.

For Firefox users wondering about this, you can use the remember password bookmarklet to achieve the same goal as Baxter's suggestion.
