Video transfer from a dvr to a dv8.

Is there a way to record something from a DVR to a dv8 cam?

I have something recorded on my standard cable company issued dvr and I want to transfer it from the dvr to a dv8 cam. Is this possible and how to do so in the least complicated manner?

Also worth nothing - my computer doesn't have tv-outs or s-video or else I could do it that way (I think) but if there's a way around that part too and it can just go straight to pc - I'm open to that as well.

Thanks!

A lot of digital video cameras have analog inputs. Just connect the analog out of the cable box to the analog in of the camera. SVideo would be the highest quality of the likely options.
