movement for the movement

Can you suggest resources for movement/somatic/bodywork exercises with an activist focus? Some examples might be scripts for "breathing exercises for protesters" or "yoga for the resistance." I'd also welcome general resources about understanding and easing the physical and emotional load shouldered by people living under systemic oppression, and would also be interested to hear about movement practices with digital/online components.
Best answer: I also think the breathing exercise on the front of this call by Adrienne Marie Brown is useful and has helped me in my work as a fundraising manager.

Here's one organization I've been excited to learn about www.healingjustice.org. They range over a whole universe of practices, including somatic healing. They have an incredible podcast, with a 2020 Visioning episode with Alicia Garza of Black Lives Matter.

You might want to look into "trauma-informed" yoga and meditation practices.
There are prison yoga projects out of NY and I think Chicago, likely a lot of different people have been doing this work with oppressed groups of people, there is another prisonyoga group.
Off the Mat into the World might be a good resource too (check out their resources section, they have more links for trauma, social justice, etc.)

Check out the exercises in My Grandmother’s Hands, Resmaa Menakem’s brilliant book about the effects of racialized trauma on the body.
