Oracle 10g Administrator exam: which book?

I'd recommend Oracle's excellent Oracle by Example series, as well as Oracle's 2-Day DBA guide. Both require a free membership to Oracle's Technology Network(OTN).
To second what Lanark said, you can't go wrong with Thomas Kyte.
Rack me.

To sign up for OTN membership, one is *required* to enter a company name, work phone number, and business address. That makes me very uncomfortable. Are they going to bother me at work?

They wont contact you. You can give bogus information; I'm also sure you can find a login on BugMeNot.

Has Thomas Kyte written any actual books that are more...introductory? It looks like his stuff is relatively advanced.

Books that follows the OCP track are always dull, lengthy, learn-by-rote. In contrast Tom's books are actually enjoyable to read.
