Reliable CD manufacturer?

A reliable CD manufacturer with quick turnaround?
A friends band need about 100 copies of their CD's made. Nothing too fancy: single page colored insert in a jewel case, with info printed on a cd-r. We've had trouble finding a place that will make these at a decent rate (paid $250 for 100 before), and one that makes the smaller amounts. Also, the place should hopefully have a decent turnaround rate. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I just finished a CD duplication project with Discmakers and they did a really good job.
On a side note, who ripped off who on the web design for Mixonic and Discmakers' sites? Compare these two pages:

Best answer: CDMan is who I used to do the openingbands.com compilation CD.
They are amazingly helpful, very tolerant of / patient with people new to the process (just let them know if you've never made a CD before), and VERY reasonably priced. Best prices I could find for someone I knew put out quality work with good print, good color clarity, and very good quality CDs, cases, etc.
Their turnaround was right on time, and we did a somewhat rushed job.

Best answer: I had a bad experience with discmakers. Totally unhelpful customer service, very impersonal.
I found Play it Productions to be just the opposite.

I've used CDman twice - their website has scads of info and they were very easy to get a hold of for questions and changes. And it was cheaper to get the work done there, a continent (and a country) away, than locally or regionally.

Americ Disc (yes, with no "a" on the end) has very high-quality and quick-turnaround disc production. As far as I understand it, the vast majority of independent labels get their manufacturing done at Americ.
