Mixtape Mission: What's your favourite song right now?
I've been tasked with the job of putting together a mixtape consisting of "favourite songs". Which is to say that each song should be SOMEONE'S favourite. It does not matter whose favourite it is, so here I am. After polling my available friends, I have 10 songs. I need 10 more. Genre is unimportant and the mix will most likely be played in the background at a meet-up of 20-30 somethings. But may also end up residing in my car cd player. Help?
Thanks in advance, MeFi.

Best answer: My current favourite song is A Dustland Fairytale by The Killers.
From songmeanings.net:
Brandon told Rolling Stone that this song is "specifically about [his] mom and dad". Courtesy SongFacts: "This song tells the story of how Flowers' mother and father met when they were both aged 15 and living on the same trailer park." Given that his mother has cancer, the lyrics make pretty much sense.
Now cinderella don't you go to sleep
Its such a bitter form of refuge
Ahh don't you know the kingdoms under siege
And everybody needs you
Is there still magic in the midnight sun
Or did you leave it back in sixty-one
In the of the cadence in the young mans eyes
And were the dreams roll high

Oh Sweden, I’m sorry to say that you’re tedious sometimes./ Your natural beauty is unsurpassed. /Your children are healthy and ruddy./ Your recycling facilities are second to none./ You’re an ethical peace loving nation./ You design such great furniture and storage solutions. /And mass produce them too.
But nobody smiles back at me. / On the underground on my way to work./ You're as cold as the Baltic Sea. /And your close your doors so readily.
