Other than poison or illegal drugs, what can I put in a poison ring?

I want to put interesting smallish things in a poison ring that I was given. The chamber is about a centimeter wide (across my finger) and .75 cm in the other dimensions. What can I put in there?

So far I've put in glitter, sprinkles, and glittery sprinkles. A Xanax fits almost perfectly if I smash it a bit. I'm open to anything, whether it's many tiny items or a single small item.

If you got a teeny-tiny picture, you could put that in there and still have room for other things.

Also, if there is ever a time when you need to take some medication daily, and the pill is small enough...

Response by poster: I've got a bag of googly eyes in my desk, so consider that one totally done.

It may sound morbid, but a bit of a loved one's cremains would be totally appropriate and very Victorian.

Best answer: I've always wondered what one might do with micro amiguri. Imagine the thrills when you pull it out to amuse a small bored child! (Or grown up person.) Note: You may want to have its magical name and purpose at the ready.

A lucky charm. The actual luck-bearing kind, not the cereal.

This may not sound exciting, but I immediately thought of salt and/or pepper. Then you could slip some into your food, which seems appropriate.

You just happened to have a bag of googly eyes on your desk? Awesome.

How about a tiny snake, like the old "snake in a can" gag?

Best answer: Orrrr lycopodium powder: it can be used as both a relatively-safe magic explosive powder. Also, per Wikipedia, "If the surface of a cup of water is coated with lycopodium powder, a finger or other object inserted straight into the cup will come out dusted with the powder but remain perfectly dry."

Best answer: Do you have a favourite plant or flower? You could keep seeds in it to drop along your way to work or in places of special significance.

Or instead of a gemstone, a wee bit of Bismuth Crystal

Your favorite essential oil? Just a drop or two on a scrap of fabric can be a great pick me up. If ou get headaches, sniff on your rosemary ring and you'll be all set.

Two or three Tic Tacs? Regarding the seed idea above, I was surprised to find that clover seeds are teeny tiny - about the size of poppy seeds. You could be like Johnny Appleseed, except with clover. The bees will thank you.

Going along with the salt and pepper idea, I immediately thought of filling it with creole seasoning. Goes great with everything. Turns popcorn into some delicious quasi-religious experience. May cause redness and itching in some googly eyes.
