What font is used in the intertitles of Hitchcock's Champagne? April 9, 2012 4:51 PMSubscribe
What font did Alfred Hitchcock use for the intertitles in his 1928 silent comedy Champagne? Sample here. Identifont and WhatTheFont have both failed me. I'm looking for a free replica or close match. posted by Faint of Butt to media & arts (2 answers total) 2 users marked this as a favorite
That's a slight variation of a pretty standard intertitle font. David Berlow's Meyer Two is meant to be a replica of similar fonts cut for Louis B. Mayer in the same era. I think that Meyer Two is closer to those intertitles than Silentina. posted by Sidhedevil at 5:02 PM on April 9, 2012
