Looking for secluded getaway between L.A. and San Diego, via train and bicycle.

I'm looking for a secluded, peaceful cabin or hotel within cycling distance of any of the Amtrak Surfliner stations south of Los Angeles (Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Oceanside, Solana Beach, San Diego). It's for a short December getaway. Any recommendations?

I've never been, but some friends have talked about doing some bike camping at Crystal Cove. It looks like there are cottages to rent as well. You could even take the blue line to Long Beach and it's a ~30 mile ride from there.
