Why can't I cut text?

[Sharopoint filter] When I work from home using a Secure ID RSA token to VPN into my corp network I cannot copy and paste anything from Sharepoint.

Or should I say copy anything as copy comes before paste. While trying to get it to work one day I tapped the mouse about a dozen times and twice the word did highlight - but that is not a good way to work! And could not repeat it. Am I missing something?
My job requires a lot of cut and paste and if I cannot effectively do that my work from home 2 days a week could be over.

I think that is the normal behavior. When I log into my windows box via terminal services I can not cut and paste back to my linux laptop. Basically, you are using two separate computers, and you can't cut and paste between them. Do you have email on the remote PC? Maybe you can email the text to yourself.

You need to share your clipboard. On the Remote Desktop Connection connect dialog, click "Options", then "Local Resources" then check "Clipboard".

Also useful is clicking "More" and and sharing your drives.

If you're problem is that you can't select text, then ask your Windows admin.

If it's a Linux problem, ensure you are using RDPv5.

Are you having a problem selecting text or copy/paste? I would try a different browser.

Also, is Citrix being used to access Sharepoint?
