I can't think of a good pun involving webkins. Maybe you can.

Asking for a friend: Need names for junior roller derby teams.
The more adorable (preferably still involving references to violence!) the better.
Some info: Twin Cities Junior Roller Derby (http://www.tcjrd.com/) is ages 3-17, for boys AND girls. Here are some that are already taken or already suggested:
Tootsie Rollers
Skater Tots
Children of a Lesser Quad (we skate on quad skates)
Trick or Beaters
Rainbow Spites

Just saw Despicable Me last night, so also: The Minions. If it's punny you want, you could go with The Mini Yuns.

I help coach the Seattle Derby Brats and Tootsie Rollers and I will think about it, but I just wanted to post right away to say Yaaaaay! Yay for kids on wheels and contact sports for girls! Yay for the future of the sport!

My Little Pwnies? Rink Brats, as a play on "rink rats"? Little Monsters, if you want to play to the Gaga crowd? The teens, at least, could nominate some team names of their own -- I'd be really interested to hear what they'd come up with.
Regardless, it's awesome that you're doing this?

(That should have had an exclamation point instead of a question mark at the end, thar. I will use my typo to add "Jam Slamwich" as a suggestion for younger kids.)

Not punny or humorous, but I think "the Tonka Trucks" is a good strong visual, connotes toughness, and has a kid theme.

If you're doing jerseys with logos, Tonka Trucks would be easy to turn into a logo. (Though, trademark infringement yadda yadda.)

Maybe just "the Trucks" with a yellow and black color scheme, especially if your town starts with a T. I know when I was a kid, I'd want to be on a team with a no-BS name like the Trenton Trucks rather than some cutesy pun name. (no offense to those suggestions. As an adult, 'Heck on Wheels' is my favorite.)

Punky Bruiseters? Maybe too dated.
ctmf, the punny names are such a big part of roller derby I can't imagine forgoing them for a kids' league.

Scare Bears.
Pitbull Pups.
Training Wheels.
Juvenile DeRinklettes.
Ahhhh! Wheel Monsters.
Rug-rash rats.
Barbie's (or Ken's) Dream Scar.
(give 'em all a high five for me!)
