Sleek, Mid-Century Accomodations in the Hill Country?

[TexasFilter] Charming but chic hotel in the Texas hill country?
My husband swears that about a year or two ago he came across a smallish hotel furnished with mid-century modern type decor in the Texas hill country. He's been googling for days with no luck.
It was probably within 100 miles of Austin but not in Austin proper (yes. we know and love the San Jose but that's not it) The place did have a website because he remembers checking rates. He said it might have been more like a B&B but there were no quilts, overstuffed beds or floral patterned wallpaper like in a more traditional B&B.
He THINKS the name had something like roadunner or chaparral in it but those could be red herrings as his memory is not trustworthy (hence the current predicament.) We are open to other awesome suggestions if we can't find this (again, possibly imagined) place.
Our wedding anniversary nears and he really has his heart set on staying in this (possibly imaginary) place.
