Looking for inspirational photo-essays.

Preferably online, any topic/subject is fine. Would be great too if you could say why you found it inspiring/interesting.

I'm not writing a book - just hoping to be inspired for a photo essay I'm working on.

Best answer: Days With My Father
Inspiring as a relationship between father and son, and also just how well it is executed.

Best answer: The Nashville Portraits — I like it because I can't do that with lighting.

Captured Collection: David Guttenfelder in Afghanistan — this one I like because of the intimate nature we don't usually get from the media in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Ice — the stunning beauty of the Greenland ice melt.

Images Along the Red Road — I love the way Ben Marra pulls the color from his subjects.

Best answer: In all sincerity: One Hamster's Last Day on Earth

To paraphrase Amos Vogel: A being has died. A photographer has made us care.
