Suggestions for New Years in Chicago?

This is the first year in 3 years that I can actually do something for New Years with my wife. I am thinking of going to Chicago for the event as I have friends & family up there. Any suggestions for what to do on New Years Eve in Chicago for 2 or 4 people? Something that doesn't cost more than $100 per couple would be great.
Here's a selection of events going on in the city, courtesy of Metromix.com. You should be able to find something to do. : )

Check out the all new Millennium Park at Grant's park near the Art Institute. Sure, it will be cold, but where else are you going to see a giant shiny bean?

It's actually just Grant Park and unfortunately the "bean" at Millenium Park is closed until spring.
(Sorry I couldn't find a better link on it being closed, but it was mentioned on WGN news recently.)

Perrenial Chicagoland favorites Poi Dog Pondering are playing. I usually come up from Texas just to attend this show, but I'll be missing out this year.
Really fun live show, very engaging, great visuals and amazing lyrics. Tics are probably around 25 bucks. It'll be on the Metromix list.
