Can a guy get some euroshorts!

Where can I find guys shorts similar to this but with a cut an inch below the knees?

Bonus points if they aren't ridiculously expensive and are available in white. I live in the DC area and have been looking all over but cant quite find the cut. The closest I found are some capris at Zara, but they have cargo pockets and are too athletic for my taste.

Find a pair of trousers you like and have them tailored to your specs. I'd like to know what your definition of "ridiculously expensive" is when you're looking at $189 (on sale from $315!) short pants.

How about these J. Crew white linen-cotton club shorts, 11" inseam? They have a 9" inseam version, too, if you want to go really...euroshorty.

Seconding torquemaniac. Tailoring is pretty inexpensive, especially when it will be essentially a hem job- I bet you could get it done for under $15.

Mine are Lacoste and fit right above the knee, otherwise are exactly like that.

Response by poster: I thought about tailoring but I figured the cut of longer pants isn't conducive to a shorts look, but I may be wrong...

Response by poster: Re BCWinters: I actually tried on those JCrews...too short for what I was looking for (needed ~2 inches longer!)

Maybe you can go try on some long pants while you are wearing a pair of shorts you like the fit of, then compare them in the fitting room to make sure the pants have the same type of cut. Buy the pants and have them hemmed.

I googled "13" inseam shorts" and found these ones. They look more flared than the ones you're looking at, but it would be an inexpensive tailoring job to slim them down.

I also found these with an 18" inseam. They have cargo pockets but are pretty low-profile. These too.

I'm curious about the photo on the page the questioner, tk, asked. Do people actually dress like that? (Shorts, vest, tie, etc).? I've never seen anyone dressed like that, but then again I'm from Alaska, so what do I know.
