What are some good blogs for discovering new blogs? (explanation within)

Because great writers come and go in the blogosphere, one must be constantly vigilant to stay abreast of the highest quality blogs (of all genres). Some bloggers have a habit of referring to other good blogs consistently.

Do you know of any? What are the best blogs for discovering new blogs?

I found Fimoculous.com's Best Blogs of 2007 That You (Maybe) Aren't Reading to be informative when I was craving some new reading material earlier this year.

I suggest following linkblogs like Waxy's links. You can find a whole bunch of good linkblogs on Hot Links; the 3+ linked items list is in my daily reading. If a blog gets linked to a few times on linkblogs it's probably interesting.
