Help me find this book of poems

Looking for an old book of poems, oldschool 70's perhaps, one author.
In high school (mid 90's) my girlfriend bought me a book of poems, one author, booklet form, the poet had one name, something like "kasabian" but not a british rock band. The booklet was cream colored, i believe with a couple of simple daisies drawn on the cover, with a title as simple as "love poems". the content of most of the poems was obvious enough, i suppose, the one i remember specifically had to do with the scent on his girlfriend's coat and how it reminded him of her. very simple, upbeat poems, no death or dearth or betrayal or hatred in them. from its style i believe it were written in the 60's or 70's. It had a very 'pbs open reading by a guy in a turtleneck' feel to it.
