Identify this classical music please.

Can anyone identify the background music (modern classical I think) in the clips I have linked to inside?

I've put them here
I've tried to get some varied clips so should be four on this page. It's from a BBC TV programme, Jonathon Meades Abroad again in Britain, about architect Cuthbert Broderick, shown last week.

It's Philip Glass's Violin Concerto No. 2.

I mean, String Quartet.

Best answer: OK, I should be paying more attention. The music in clip 1 is from the first movement of Philip Glass's String Quartet No. 2. The music in clip 2 is from the fourth movement. I'm not sure about the clips 3 and 4.

Best answer: The music on clips 3 and 4 sounds like Steve Reich, but I don't know the titles.

Response by poster: Thankyou tepidmonkey for getting 1 and 2, and also euphotic, you reminded me, it's Steve Reich The Desert Music in 3 and 4.
