How many emails does it take...

I'm looking for an article I read online a few years ago. It mentioned how many emails, instant messages and phone calls it takes to equal one in-the-flesh date, such as "it takes one email conversation or 1 hour of instant messaging to equal one date". Help me find it!!!

I've never heard of it, but I really hope you are not hoping to take this kind of advice seriously! It sounds ludicrous!

I can't imagine any amount of electronic communication that could substitute for face time.

Geez guys, nowhere did she say she believed it! She just wants to know where the article is!

I seem to recall reading something similar, only this one was like, 3 months of cyberdating equal one year of real-life dating... so cyberdating was a lot faster. I may have read that in a book though... it's been so long I can't remember.

Response by poster: Thanks, Indigo. No, I don't believe it. I was merely having a discussion about this with a friend and she was interested in the article.
