Best Country for eCommerce HQ

I'm trying to set up an eCommerce biz here in New Mexico, and we have a 5% gross receipts tax. I was wondering if anybody else out there might be running an e-biz and if they had any suggestions for the best way to set things up.

If you expect to ship things globally, I note Hong Kong has cheap postage, low taxes and good infrastructure.

Unless you're planning to get new citizenship, this isn't going to work the way you're hoping.

Response by poster: Thanks to both of you.

What I was hoping to do was circumvent the tax thing by establishming the company in a different country or state.
